The preview line helps with direct shots, while the wall opens paths to pockets hidden behind the front row.
Make bank shots predictable
For a wall shot, picture the wall as a mirror and aim at the reflected target. Leave clearance for the bubble's full width, especially near corners. A shallow rebound travels farther and magnifies small aiming errors. When a direct match and a difficult bank offer similar value, take the direct route and keep the board stable.
Manage colors and height
Every placed bubble changes future access. Avoid sealing a rare color behind layers you cannot match. If the field approaches the danger line, prioritize removals in the deepest columns even when another move would score more immediately. Open space is a resource: it gives later shots more angles and more opportunities to reach supports.
